Our Story~
It All Started at the Squire…
As so many stories start here on Cape Cod; Katie & Steve’s story begins at the famous Squire Restaurant & Bar on Main Street in Chatham Mass. It was Memorial Day weekend in 2011; both were out with friends (separately of course). One of Katie’s friends nonchalantly pulled out a “coozie” for the drinks they had just ordered; being a self-proclaimed “bar connoisseur”, Steve was intrigued and found the nerve to go up and introduce himself to the group of girls. As the night drew on Katie and Steve were inseparable. Steve’s dance moves and secret love of Katy Perry music were divulged and the rest was “history” as they say. After dating for just over 3 years; Steve proposed to Katie in July of 2014 overlooking the shores of Sesuit Harbor in Dennis. With both growing up and now living on Cape (Katie in Dennis & Steve in Brewster) it was important to both of them that the wedding reflect both their pasts as well as their futures together here in this beautiful place called Cape Cod.
